Fill Operator I � 2nd Shift

Job description

The Fill Operator I is responsible for performing a wide range of activities within controlled aseptic filling and ancillary areas. The role includes setup, operation, sanitization, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of filling equipment and supporting systems. Operators are responsible for maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques and cGMP requirements while operating automated filling systems such as fillers, stoppering units, and cappers. Key duties include preparing and cleaning equipment and controlled environments, performing in-process quality checks such as fill weight verification, collecting samples, and completing all required documentation and logbook entries in accordance with approved procedures. The role also involves assisting with preventive maintenance activities, reporting deviations or process issues to supervisors, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Operators are expected to maintain cleanliness of filling suites, airlocks, and ancillary rooms while working in fully gowned cleanroom conditions. The position requires flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
